What you will learn

Integrate modal color, chromatic harmony, borrowed chords, chord melody, advanced rhythm, genre study, and counterpoint into an upper-intermediate portfolio with reflection and next-step planning.

Why this matters: A creative portfolio shows how advanced concepts have become musical choices. It also shows what still needs practice without pretending one polished artifact is the whole musician.

The portfolio collects choices, not trophies

Prepare three short artifacts: one harmonic-color study, one rhythm or style study, and one chord-melody or counterpoint study. At least one artifact should become a complete two- to four-minute performance or arrangement.

Each artifact needs a chart or map, analysis, performance notes, reflection, and a next-practice plan. The app still uses self-confirmed checks; it does not judge audio.
